Caracterização da fauna de mamíferos em área de vegetação de canga no Parque Nacional da Serra do Gandarela, Minas Gerais

Realizamos pela primeira vez um levantamento da fauna terrestre de mamíferos de pequeno, médio e grande porte em duas áreas de Campo Rupestre Ferruginoso (canga) no Parque Nacional Serra do Gandarela, Minas Gerais, Brasil: área de canga degradada (ACD) devido às atividades de mineração anteriores à criação do parque e área de canga preservada (ACP). Registramos 13 espécies (ACD = 10, ACP = 10), distribuídas em oito famílias e sete ordens (Akodon cf. montensis, Calomys tener, Cerdocyon thous, Cerradomys subflavus, Dasypus novemcinctus, Didelphis albiventris, Leopardus guttulus, Monodelphis domestica, Necromys lasiurus, Oligoryzomys rupestris, Subulo gouazoubira, Sylvilagus brasiliensis e Tapirus terrestris).
